When AIDs was first discovered around 30 years ago, it took the world by surprise. In such a short amount of time, millions of people are been affected by this heartbreaking disease. Researchers have been striving to find a cure for AIDs for years. As of recently, a new gene therapy for AIDs has been on the rise. It is expensive and there is risk of side effects but it seems to be keeping AIDs under control.
