More Evidence On Clot Risks of Non-Oral Contraceptives

A study publishes on the British Medical Journal talks about non-oral hormonal contraceptives like skin patches, implants, and vaginal rings carry a higher risk of serious blood clots.  These blot clots are know as venous thromboembolism (a collective term for deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism).  Women who are on non-oral contractive should switch to oral contraceptive pills.  This would decrease the risk of having deadly clots.
