FDA panel voting on drug to prevent HIV

There is a drug Truvada that has been active since 2004 on patients with HIV already. The FDA is thinking about releasing this to the public for preventing HIV. Apparently this drug drastically reduces the chances of getting HIV in gay couples and heterosexual couples. This would be groundbreaking because the rates of HIV are going up very quickly and this could save a lot of peoples lives.
