Spawn of Medieval "Black Death" Bug Still Roam the Earth

It seems as though part of the epidemic of the black plague is still around today, influencing diseases that are still around. The plague was already known to have started in the soil, and since the 1300's the plague hasn't changed much. The plague is now spread by burrowing rodents and fleas. Today's antibiotics usually save up to 85% of the people effected.
