Inducing Labor Can Reduce Birth Complications

Being induced and jump starting labor after 37 weeks will reduce birth complications.  This may also reduce complications that the mother may be experiencing.  Some of these complications might be high blood pressure and gestational diabetes.  If every 1,040 women who have induced labor at 40, the child mortality rate would decrease because one death of a newborn would be prevented.
