Blonde Hair in the Solomon Islands
Biologist thought that the trait of blonde hair in the Solomon Islands had developed from distant European ancestors. After looking at the DNA they discover it is not. The hair color results from a different gene variation than that of blonde Europeans. This highlights a whole new way of looking at skin and hair pigmentation.
