American citizens are able to live to older ages, primarily due to the better medical care. About two million American citizens are in their 90s, which is three times the amount as back in 1980. However, the increasing life span and population has limited healthcare coverage money. More money will be needed to support the citizens, especially the elderly since number of people affected by Alzheimer’s is also rising.
