Get "Jacked" Without Lifting Heavy Weight

Lifting lighter weights with higher repetitions can be as beneficial as lifting heavy weights with lower repetitions. Young men and women who lifted lighter weights until failure were equally effective at stimulating muscle proteins and muscle growth as their peers who lifted heavier weights with few repetitions. These findings and hypothesis-es are also significant when considering the stress and fatigue that heavy weight lifting causes towards joints and tendons. Also, lifting lighter weights until the point of fatigue can cause the body's muscle building response to occur for a greater amount of days. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/04/120426110252.htm
