There is something called the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act that is trying to make it easier for pregnant to get more breaks in the workplace. Some places are taking the advice of this act and not scrutinizing pregnant women for not being able to lift such heavy things or if they need another chair. Some places are having a very hard time with it and making the women take extra months of unpaid leave.
