Social Jet Lag is a Problem for Most of Us

41 million working people in America do not get enough sleep, because they are forced to maintain a schedule that conflicts with the body's internal clock.  All humans have an innate body clock, but the conventions of society drive us away from those biological norms.  A study of 65,000 people indicated that those who suffered from this "social jet lag" were much more likely to be obese and engage in unhealthy habits such as smoking and drinking.
