Breast Feeding Older Children: Is It More Common Than We Think?

Public breast-feeding has always been a contentious issue, but now it is coming to light that many people are breast feeding their children far past the "normal" age- up to age two and in some cases even older.  Some studies seem to indicate that this is beneficial, and that the "natural" breast feeding duration is from two to seven years.  The author also believes it engenders closeness between child and parent.
