Absence of Elephants and Rhinoceroses Reduces Biodiversity in Tropical Forests

Elephants and rhinoceroses are known as megaherbivores.  They act at the ‘gardeners’ of tropical rain forests.  With out these animals, the rain forest will lose its structure and biodiversity.  There will be no other animal that could replace what the megaherbivores contribute to the rain forest.  They are seed-dispersing animals.
