Ice in Antarctica melting due to warm water

A new study has shown that the ice in Antarctica is melting because of the warm water beneath it. Scientists did not realize this before. With this new information, the ice may melt faster than previously thought. This is going to cause the sea levels to rise even faster also. Scientists conclude that there is virtually no hope of reversing the retreating glaciers.
