How girls and boys differ when it comes to autism

How girls and boys differ when it comes to autism

In the recent report from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, it shows that the case of autism has increased by 78% over the past decade; also the ratio of boys and girls in autism is about 5-to-1, which is higher than the other studies. It shows that girls appear to grow faster than boys, and they in general have better social skill, so they can escape the study. More finding shows that higher functioning girls with autism are missed by clinicians who are not experts in diagnosis.
