Growing up, I always was taught that tanning and excessive exposure was dangerous and that I should be vigilant about wearing sunscreen whenever I went outside. As more and more evidence is popping up to show that sun exposure can be deathly, it hasn't stopped everyone from tanning. In class, we learned about cancer caused by excessive sun exposure and the dangers associated with it. As prom season in nearing, many teenage girls are set on getting a tan from tanning beds even though they know they risks associated with their actions
