The use of animals in research labs have become almost the norm around the world today. With the potentially harmful substances being tested, it would be difficult to perform them on human subjects. What do we use? Our next closest relative: the chimpanzee. If this subject was unable to be tested on, the knowledge of humanity would be decreased, for so much has come out of animal testing. The debate on animal rights was brought up during Human Biology, and forever will be a huge debate. Will researchers ever find a way to proceed to a safer way of testing?
