Restricted Calorie Diet Improves Heart Function in Obese Patients With Diabetes
According to a study at the annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America, a low-calorie diet expels insulin dependence and in turn leads to improved heart function in patients who are obese and have type 2 diabetes. The results show that 16 weeks of this restriction helped the heart function of these patients.
