Is Alzheimer's Similar to Brain Cancer?

One theory behind understanding alzheimer's is that the disease is caused by improper cell division, which then leads to protein build-up in the brain. Right now the main theory is that the protein build-up causes memory loss, but at least one scientist thinks that the scientific community needs to be examining cell division more closely.
