Naked Mole-Rats Offer Clues to Living Longer

Naked mole rats might offer clues about aging slowly. They live about five times longer than their closest rat relatives and five times longer than would be expected for their size. They seem to contradict the idea that free radicals are responsible for aging, since the cells of mole rats have more free radical damage than the cells of other rodents.
