Wal-Mart pulls powdered formula after Mo. baby's death
Walmart pulled a bath of baby formula off its shelves after a newborn became fatally ill. The child seemed a have a bacterial infection. Officials state the formula had been tested for such bacteria before and came back negative. It is unclear whether or not the bacteria actually came from the formula, but Walmart "out of an abundance of caution" decided to take them off the shelves anyway. Families who have already bought the product have the option of returning it for a full refund or exchanging it if they so desire.
