Obesity in mice solved with transplanted cells

Mice with lost brain functions that lacked the cells necessary to control the feeling of hunger and fullness were given cell transplants that restored the damaged area of the brain. The success of the experiment shows that transplantation of small numbers of cells could restore the missing neuronal circuits and restore the lost brain functions. Cell transplantation could eliminate the effects of stroke or improve the treatment of Parkinson's disease.
