Study reveals what lives in our bathroom
Most people do not want to think about how many bacterias will be in the areas they are touching. However, the research at the University of Colorado Boulder shows that there are dominantly skin-associated bacteria in the human touch areas. Especially, the toilet seats and flush handle included human gut or bowel, suggesting fecal contamination of the places. Those places are relatively "enriched". It's not so much to freak out about because some living areas like the slums of India or eating from garbage somehow survive. The main result from the research is that we need to be aware of the facts bacterias are all around us and it is very important to keep ourselves sanitary.
