Why eating a lot feels so darn good

The brain rewards eating salt, fat and sugars by releasing feel-good chemical substances.

Eating a lot not only taste good, but it feels good as well. Our brains release feel good chemicals the same way drugs do. This causes us to eat more and more than we need to which lead to an unhealthy life and can develop diseases such as obesity. In history, mankind and animals had to work hard and stay active to obtain food. Nowadays, it is almost effortless for us to get these food, especially fatty ones. High fat and high calorie food has been suggested by the Neuroscience that it affects our brain the same way cocaine and heroin does. Our bodies can tell when we are full and sends out a signal from the intestines, however, it is our choice to listen to it or not. It is necessary to take action such as a proper diet and exercise plan so that we do not self destruct.
