Loud Music and how the Brain Perceives Alcohol

Scientists at the University of Portsmouth conducted an experiment that seems to indicate that loud music affects how people will think their alcoholic drink tastes. According to the scientist in charge of the experiment, "the study found that sweetness perception of alcohol was significantly higher in the music compared to control and other distracting conditions, which is a novel finding and to our knowledge, not seen previously." It's an interesting look at multi-sensory perception.
