Bed bugs can inbreed healthy offsprings so their population can thrive even if there were only a few of them left due to their genetic make up. In most bed bug groups, there's usually only one female. They also come from a lot of different places such as foreign countries. With all of this, bed bugs will not be going away anytime soon. Though they bite and cause welts and itching, they are not known to spread any diseases.
