Teen First U.S. Death by Vampire Bat

 

A 19 year old Mexican boy was bitten by a bat in Mexico before he came to the United States to work. This bite happened 10 days prior to his trip. He died from an aggressive case because he did not receive the rabies vaccine. These bats are in mostly South American countries such as Mexico and Chile. But they could easily come over to the United States and cause a huge rabies epidemic.
