Another Step Towards Genetically Modified Super Plants

Scientists from Carnegie are claiming to have found the missing key to how plants move sugar. The key, which has been missing for twenty years, explains how sugar is moved through the veins of a plant. This discovery could lead to humans fine-tuning the seed making process which would divert more sugar to the seeds and make them healthier and stronger.
