High altitude, higher suicide risk.
According to the journal High Altitude Medicine & Biology, death rate from all causes, such as gender, income rate and age etc,. and high elevation are related. It states that mortality of human living in higher altitude is higher than lower altitude. Also, the researchers report that oxygen level is not a factor which affects the data. However, the authors of High Altitude Medicine and Biology deny the correlation. Lastly, the editor declares that this correlation was found unexpectedly and the cause of higher mortality in higher elevation area is vague yet.
