Prostate Cancer's Weakness

Scientists have discovered an "achilles' heel" in a very aggressive form of prostate cancer. This weak spot can be attacked by a medication already in clinical testing to treat other cancers. This treatment, should it prove safe, would save thousands of lives and help treat a type of cancer that would otherwise go unfettered. Current treatments for prostate cancer may promote other types of prostate cancer to develop. This treatment would allow an end to those treatments and provide a much safer alternative for men.
