Plant Eating Dinosaur in Antarctica

Though it's hard to imagine a dinosaur, or anything really, surviving in Antarctica, but during the early Cretaceous period we can safely say that sauropoda lived there. This is one of the most diverse families of dinosaur, with over 150 species grouped in. Prior to this discovery, there was no evidence of this type of dinosaur living in Antarctica, though it was found on every other continent. In addition to adding evidence to continental drift and the pangea theories, this allows stands as a testament to how widespread this kind of dinosaur was.

This is one type of sauropoda.
