Leopard-printed horses? Some scientists argue they exist!

New genetic studies suggest that the cavemen who painted polka-dotted horses on the cave walls approximately 25 thousand years ago were not just taking artistic license, as previous thought. Genetic studies in previous years have suggested that all horses were either brown or black before domestication, but a new study shows that a third gene existed which would have caused horses to be spotted. Therefore, it is likely that those cavemen were actually pictures of horses that were true-to-life.
