Cigarettes and cigarette smoke have been proven to cause disease, death and birth defects. However, despite the warning labels, many people find themselves too addicted to stop smoking. Recently, researchers in Italy have found success in asking smokers to use an electronic cigarette (e-cigarette), which contains a small amount of nicotine, instead of the real-deal when experiencing a craving. While some researchers argue that the e-cigarette is far less harmful to people than tobacco cigarettes, other groups have made their opposition to the new-age cigarette loud and clear.
