FDA encourages swift development of artificial pancreas

This article is very interesting, the FDA has issued draft guidance for manufacturers developing artificial pancreas devices. The guidance was announced December 1st and the media has believed that this is a sign from the FDA that the agency is willing to move faster in the clinical trials of these devices.
