This article discusses a new tread of senior citizens being screened for cancer despite it's cost and possible risks. As the average age gets higher and higher, the need for such tests also rises. If a 60 year old woman is going to live another 20 years, then she should certainly take the care to take such tests, but who can really say how long she will live? Testing senior citizens can lead to waste of money that could have been spent on younger patients.
