Use of Stem Cells Creates Cells Used by Brain to Control Muscle Cells

For the FIRST time EVER, researchers were able to grow neuromuscular junctions between human muscle and spinal cord cells.  This was made possible by the use of stem cells, a controversial topic in human biology.  Studies like this one continue to show the merits of the usage of stem cells.  In creating these neuromuscular junctions, scientists have come a little closer in developing more accurate information as to how the organs and organ systems function within the body.
