Sleeping disorders affect Police Officers' Work

A new study found that 40% of police officers screened had at least one sleeping order like obstructive sleep apnea or insomnia.  These sleeping disorders are drastically effecting their jobs.  The police officers with sleeping disorders were 51% more likely to fall asleep while driving, 43% more likely to make administrative mistakes,  63% more likely to violate safety protocols, 22% more likely to be injured  on the job than those officers that reported no sleeping disorders.  More citizens also file complaints against police officers with sleeping disorders.  This is an extremely high number of sleeping disorders and open up the debate about what we should do about police officer's health.
