According to this study, the risk for premature birth increases when a woman has had more than two abortions. Also, women with surgical abortions were 27% more likely to have preterm births than those that had medical abortions with drugs. This is definitely something for women considering abortion to think about, although in the article it does reiterate that the majority of people can still expect a normal healthy pregnancy after having an abortion.
