Poor Mental Health Harming Workplace Productivity

It is estimated that about twenty percent of workers have some form of mental illness. This can range anywhere from depression to anxiety. New studies show that due to these medical conditions, work place productivity suffers. Employees who have some form of the mental illness, on average take more sick days off from work and claim anywhere between thirty and fifty percent of the new disability benefit claims that deals with poor mental health.
