Pollution and Climate Change Accelerate Ocean Degradation

This article talks about how the state and health of the oceans may be in much worse shape than we notice.  The oceans are becoming more acidic due to pollution and the increased heat of the Earth.  There are also ocean dead zones, as well as areas of the ocean that experience hypoxia, which means a shortage of oxygen in the water.  Although the oceans have changed before, now they are changing at an extremely accelerated rate.
