More Shrubbery in a Warming World

Following the tune of the last post, global warming allows the earth to show off its adaptibility. Over the past 20 years satellite pictures show a spreading grass/shrub - land in northern Canada. These changes are far less subtle than the receding ice shelves but raise questions like "Can an increased rate of CO2 absorption of plants counter-act our pollution?"
