Hope for an AIDS Vaccine

Scientists from Johns Hopkins University claim to have developed a way to remove the deceptive abilities of the AIDS virus. AIDS normally steals cholesterol from pDCs which normally signal T-cells to defeat the invaders. The new vaccine removes the cholesterol envelope from the virus which will leave the virus mostly defenseless. So far no animal or human testing has been done, so the vaccine is still in its very beginning stages of development.
