Planets the size of earth were discovered. Surprisingly, in addition to the similarity in size, the planets are thought to have similar conditions as well. In the distant past these planets may have been able to support life and one of them may have had conditions similar to our own planet. Researchers have described this discovery as the most important planets ever discovered outside the solar system.
