Scientists at UCLA have seen that over the course of time, the coloration of guppies has changed significantly while the patch of orange has stayed at almost the same hue. Why is this? It's to get the lady guppies. Scientists are saying that they had to evolve to stay the same meaning they changed the hue a little but continually kept coming back to this one because the females prefer it.
