Based on census data collected from 1970-2004, by 2030 86.3% of Americans will be overweight and 51.1% of Americans will be classified as obese with adult women having the highest increase in percentages of obesity. If current trends continue, by 2030 96.9% of Black women and 91.1% of Hispanic men will be obese, and almost 20% of health-cares costs will be connected to being overweight/obesity. By 2048 all American adults will be overweight.

Over 50% of Americans Will Be Obese by 2030
