'Look at That!'--Ravens Use Gestures Too

This article talks about two researchers, Pika and Bugnyar, who studied the behavioral patterns of ravens in Seeweisen and Vienna.  It explains how humans have common gestures, such as pointing, that are used by children of young ages.  These gestures rarely show up in our primate counter-parts except to show each other where they need to be groomed but, ravens show signs of gestures like us frequently.  They offer up moss and stick (usually to birds of the opposite sex) and the other understands what they're doing and take what is being offered!
