Signature wounds suffered in Iraq and Afghanistan are traumatic brain injuries. An evaluation has been done and it is said that the treatment to brain trauma cases is helpful but lacks scientific support. Many use different methods of cognitive support such as journaling, however it has been under scrutiny by families, and now the government. It is being determined if there are other, better, ways of therapy.
