New Discoveries and Strides in Cystic Fibrosis

This article covers some really exciting news for those with Cystic Fibrosis.  There are several drugs in the 'pipeline' and in the beginning stages of being approved for use.  It discusses the status of VX-770, which is set to be submitted to the FDA to be approved, hopefully, in 2012.  While some of the tested therapies are mutation specific, this is still promising news to all with CF.  The article also talks a bit about the CFTR protein and its deficiencies.  Very interesting!!
