Nazca Bobby Birds in the Galapagos

This article is about how the Nazca Bobby Bird chicks in the Galapagos Island get abused from the abandonment of their parents... and therefore getting abused from other unrelated adults who have aggressive/sexual tendencies on them.  Researchers have put forth studies on these birds for 3 breading seasons finding high correlations between the aggression on the chicks and the abuse the nestlings received.  These experiences lead to later repercussions in their lives from the founded stress hormone, corticosterone, in abused chicks which causes higher aggression characteristics.  This study is prominent because both humans and animals can share the same correlation in some aspects...just like this example with aggression.  Hereditary traits and environmental factors play a part in this which can carry throughout generations.
