IQ changes in teens as brain changes, study finds

Here's an interesting article that I want to share with you guys about IQ and brain.

Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London has found that IQ can change in teens as the brain structure changes. They experimented with MRI scanning and saw how both verbal IQ and nonverbal IQ changes. Verbal IQ depends on the gray matter density and volume in a portion of the left motor cortex. Nonverbal depends on the gray matter density in anterior cerebellum which is related to the head movement.
