This article highlights the discovery by New York genetic scientists who used cloning technologies to produce embryonic stem cells with three sets of chromosomes. There are obvious ethical discrepancies behind this, and many people are upset that the scientists created an ‘abnormal human life’. However, as of right now the cells are unusable for laboratory studies due to their mutations.
